MeinLive is a live streaming community from Germany. You can watch live streams, join the chat, send hearts and gifts, follow streamers – or go live yourself: in the browser, with OBS Studio or with the MeinLive app.

No, watching, chatting, following and going live are free. Only coins cost money – you can use them voluntarily to send gifts to streamers.

Click Sign up, choose a username and enter your email, date of birth, password and mobile number. You'll receive a one-time code by text message to confirm. Your number is never made public.

You can create an account from the age of 16. Going live, appearing as a guest in a stream and buying coins is possible from 18.

Open Go live and choose a way: in the browser (nothing to install, recommended), with the app or with OBS Studio for pros. Your followers are notified automatically.

A phone or computer with a camera and microphone and a stable internet connection – ideally at least 5 Mbit/s upload. Good light from the front makes the biggest difference.

Yes. In the app or in the browser, you can invite up to 8 guests at once or accept requests from viewers. Their video appears in your stream – and you choose the layout, e.g. grid, focus or stage.

By default, yes – your broadcast is then available as a recording for 3 days. You can switch recording off when starting, and under My recordings you set the visibility or delete it.

Everyone, by default. If you set your profile to private in your dashboard, only approved followers can watch – new followers then have to send a request.

Coins are the virtual currency on MeinLive. You use them to send gifts to streamers – they appear live in the stream and in the chat. Coins have no cash value and cannot be paid out.

You can buy coin packages in the coin shop. There are also free coins: 1 coin for every 5 minutes of watching and a one-off 20 coins per stream when you write 10 messages there – up to 100 free coins per day in total.

Since coins are credited immediately, your right of withdrawal expires once they are credited – you expressly agree to this when buying. Details can be found in the withdrawal policy (German).

Hearts are free: just tap the heart during a stream – as often as you like, up to 60,000 hearts per stream. The streamer sees the total live.

There are no payouts at the moment. But gifts earn streamers XP for their level and a place on the leaderboard.

Use the report function directly on the stream or on a chat message. Our team reviews every report. Streamers and their moderators can also mute or ban viewers in their own chat.

With age limits (account from 16, going live and buying coins from 18), a word filter, a report function, moderation and an automatic provisional suspension when several people report an account. Everything important – also for parents – is on our protection of minors page.

Use a long, unique password and enable two-factor authentication. You'll then also need a code from an authenticator app when logging in.

No problem: via Forgot password we'll send a link to your email address that lets you set a new password.

Yes. Under My profile → Account you can deactivate your account. Your profile is then invisible – simply log in again to reactivate it.

Request deletion under My profile → Account (website) or Profile → menu (app). After 30 days your account is permanently deleted – until then you can cancel the deletion by logging in. Learn more
